Massage at Pathways Spa at The Sarojin in Khao Lak

Treating yourself to an indulgent spa treatment is one experience that can’t be missed when visiting Thailand, as the region is renowned for giving some of the world´s best massages. The most famous of which is the traditional Thai massage, which combines acupressure and yoga postures while focussing on the body’s energy-lines to promote natural healing and relaxation.

Here at The Sarojin, we’re proud to honour the therapeutic traditions of Thailand with a luxurious selection of treatments and beauty services at our award-winning Pathways Spa. Our treatments are designed to revitalise and relax our guests during their stay and are available alongside a whole host of other wellness activities at our resort including yoga and meditation classes.

Khao Lak resort Pathways SpaA secluded jungle haven…

Nestled within the grounds of the resort, our Pathways Spa is surrounded by coconut groves, lush greenery and nature. Here guests can sit back and relax to the sounds of the Andaman Sea in the distance, partnered with the melodic chirping of our resident birds and wildlife in the canopy above – it truly is a slice of heaven in the jungle.

A sanctuary of wellness and relaxation, you will find our secluded spa at the end of a meandering wooden pathway – from which it gets its name. Expect to be captivated by the soothing effect of wood underfoot and the dabbled light shining through the palms above, already setting the mood for the relaxation to come.

On arrival, you will be welcomed to your own private open-air treatment pavilion – we have four in total, two of which can accommodate couples together. The spa is equipped with luxurious rain showers and baths that blend into the natural habitat for a post-treatment soak, as well as a facial treatment room and a relaxation lounging area.

Harnessing the power of nature…

For centuries, Thai people have used the natural healing properties of local herbs, trees, flowers and fruits to purify and rejuvenate their bodies and minds. Purification of the spirit is believed to be achieved by combining these rich earthy ingredients into remedies that enhance your feeling of wellness.

With this ethos is mind, all of the essential oils we use at our spa are made right here in Thailand, from 100% natural ingredients. We use sunflower oil as a base, which is renowned for its natural healing properties, combined with additional oils that offer specific holistic benefits. For example, we use Kob Koon oil (a blend of sunflower, plai, ylang ylang and lavender) to reduce anxiety and nerves, Jai Dee oil (a combination of sunflower, lemongrass, lavender and cedarwood) to reduce stress and Jai Yen oil (a blend of sunflower, mint and eucalyptus) to give a feeling of refreshment during our treatments.

Our expert team of highly-qualified native Thai massage therapists can help you to choose the perfect treatments and oils from our menu, which includes a range of different treatments for the body and face. Whether you go for a Traditional Thai Massage or decide to be a little more adventurous and try our truly luxurious signature Faa Fairt Massage (four handed massage), we have the perfect treatment waiting for you.
