Extreme Adventures on The Wild Side – Walk, Swim, Rock Climb
The Sarojin is ideally located to offer our more thrill seeking guests more challenging adventures into the wilds. We work closely with the national park guides to offer a range of more "extreme" adventures. These can be tailor-made as desired but are not for the faint hearted!
Extreme Jungle Trek - climb and swim and learn survival techniques through the wilds of southern Thailand on a trip you'll never forget. Extreme Rock Climbing, Phang Nga Bay - climb the dramatic limestone islands and sheer rock formations of ancient Phang Nga Bay.
Extreme Mountain Biking, Khao Sok National Park - an adrenaline enthusiast's dream, explore by bike and, follow trails through the wild jungle environment.
Snorkel and SCUBA Diving – The Similan and Surin Islands
The Similan and Surin Islands' Marine National Parks, are just 1 hour away off The Sarojin beach, and are renowned for their underwater beauty, marine life and coral, soft white sand beaches and lush interiors. With reefs beginning only yards from the white sand beaches and up to 30 metres visibility, they offer superb snorkelling and diving experiences.
The Lady Sarojin boat, operates scheduled snorkeling trips to the islands exclusively for The Sarojin guests and can be booked for private charter.
For SCUBA, The Sarojin has partnered with local international dive operators and can facilitate a range of SCUBA trips.
To help protect these marine parks they are open from November to early May annually.
Phang Nga Bay – Cruising, Sea Canoeing
Phang Nga Bay is renowned for its many dramatic limestone islands. These distinctive sheer rock formations jut vertically out of the emerald green water. At lower tides cave tunnels are exposed amongst these huge rocks allowing entrance by sea canoes through these areas of untouched nature and into the hidden lagoons within. Cruises into Phang Nga Bay are available by the Lady Sarojin boat May to October or traditional Thai longtail boat all year round.
