I recently stayed at the Sarojin Hotel in Khao Lak, near Phuket in Thailand . It is a brand new hotel, and I considered not writing a review at all for fear of it becoming too popular! It was truly fantastic. Set on a beautiful estate by the beach over looking the Andaman Sea , the Sarojin offers the best service I've ever had in Thailand , and I've always had better service in Thailand than anywhere else. The hotel's low-key elegance is echoed inside and out, from the beautiful grounds with its lotus ponds and palms, to the sophisticated and modern rooms. The rooms are imaginative spacious and comfortable, blending natural elements such as stones on the bathroom floor and waterfall showers, with large egg-shaped couples' baths. The rooms and the hotel are open-plan, giving it a sense of space and light. The Sarojin strikes the perfect balance between luxury, comfort, attention to detail and harmony with its surroundings. First-class hotels in Southern Thailand should be very worried by this impressive newcomer. Visitors will be delighted as I was. UK 04.01.06

What a fantastic place. We have had the most wonderful time at the Sarojin. The beach BBQ was exceptional, all the staff have been so warm and friendly and our spa treatments were completely relaxing. Hi Kate, We had the BEST time and loved every minute of our stay. We went on to stay at some other lovely places in Thailand , and we can honestly say the Sarojin was our favorite. Your staffs were so friendly and helpful, in particular Sak, who arranged and served our private beach barbecue. He stopped to chat to us for the rest of our holiday and we thought he was so lovely and so professional too.
